Helen is a RYT 200 Registered Yoga teacher with a personal practice spanning two decades. She came to yoga at a time of prolonged and very severe illness that left her using a wheelchair and unable to work for a number of years. This engendered a deep resonance and understanding of how Yoga can bring a foundation of connection that is part of the journey back to wholeness.


Yoga is union - of Divine and human; form and formless; body and mind. This is a core embodiment practice, explored and developed over thousands of years and the perfect complement to energy healing, whether individually or in groups; deepening presence, improving wellbeing and supporting our innate connection through body and breath.


Helen's primary training is in yin, Vinyasa and hatha. She has a particular resonance with mindful and yin based practices, bringing balance to overly full lives, and weaves these with her energy work tools.


Helen currently teaches in Mount Shasta, Northern California. Current classes are at Mountain Fitness (www.mountainfitnessca.com) and, from September 2019, Shasta Yoga Institute (www.shastayogainstitute.com). Private instruction is available by appointment.
